Internationalization

The Student Union applies itself to provide good facilities in the living environment of international students. An example is the housing of students. Associations are stimulated to be open to international students. Would you like to know more about internationalization at the Student Union? E-mail internationalisering@union.utwente.nl.

International office

UniTe

UniTe

UniTe is the platform for internationalization and integration at the University of Twente. It consists of all international associations involved in internationalization. Every two weeks we have a meeting.
UniTe acts as an advisory council and we focus on UT-policy concerning internationalization and integration. We give our feedback on new and excisting policy but also current procedures, activities or other issues. With this we hope to improve the student life of international students and improve the integration.

More information can be found on the UniTe website.

Do you have a question for UniTe? Send an e-mail to: internationalization@union.utwente.nl

International associations

The Student Union supports the founding of international student associations for various nationalities. Nobody can better explain to a foreign student how life is here than a student from the same country. International associations have the objective to increase the integration and organize activities together with Dutch citizens. Financial support

Foreign students who are active at an association can qualify for graduation months. Graduation months are a financial support initiative of the University of Twente for students who are active in an association and as a result have delay in their study. The website of the University of Twente states how you can qualify for graduation months: www.utwente.nl.
