Sports associations
The University has a wide range of sport associations. Most practise their sport in and around the Sport centre. Sport at the University of Twente is cheap and, even more important, a lot of fun! Look up your sport’s association and visit its website to find out about the association, its trainings and competitions.
One of the conditions for participating in sports at the University of Twente is the purchase of an Xtra-card. The Xtra-card helps to maintain all sport and cultural activities at the University of Twente. You can also use your Xtra-card to go swimming in the Aquadrome or to borrow books from Enschede’s Public Library.
