The University of Twente has a wide range of cultural associations. Most culture-related activities take place in the Vijhof, the University of Twente’s cultural centre. One of the conditions for joining a cultural association at the University of Twente is the purchase of an Xtra-card. The Xtra-card helps to maintain all sports and cultural activities at the University of Twente. You can also use the Xtra-card to rehearse with your band in the Vrijhof, swim in the Aquadrome or borrow books from Enschede’s public library.
