Activism at the University of Twente
Welcome to the University of Twente’s page on student activism. Here you will find all there is to know about the extracurricular activities in which you can participate. You could serve on a committee or board of more than 100 associations, start your own business or set up an entirely new activity all together. These activities are fun and also highly educational. Furthermore, many companies value students who have been involved in extracurricular activities.
Where can I start?
During your time as a student you can be active within a number of associations. At the moment there are more than 100 different associations affiliated with the Student Union that are all governed by students. In addition to these associations, the Student Union itself also has various committees. These committees organise activities for the entire university such as Create Tomorrow, a think tank in which 1000 (!) students take part. Read on…
