Purchasing a Fitness Card at the University of Twente is a good move. It enables you to keep your body healthy and a healthy body is the key to a healthy mind. A healthy mind is almost sure to lead to better results at work and in your studies.

The University of Twente Sports Centre has a modern and fully equipped Fitness Centre (for cardio and weight training) open to the university’s staff and students who hold an Xtra-Card along with the supplementary Fitness Card.

A fitness book has been developed to make sure that everyone with a Fitness Card can make good use of the Sports Centre's fitness facilities. This book explains how to use the Fitness Centre, includes information on cardio and weight training, and lets you know when supervision is available. To make sure that you train responsibly, it is a good idea to read this book.

On Monday to Friday questions can be asked to one of the fitness coaches. They are available between 11:30-22:30. Would you like to know which coach is present in the Fitness Center?
