Compensation

The University of Twente deems it important that students are actively involved in extracurricular activities. That is why students can be granted various forms of activism compensation. This compensation consists of financial funds.

Financial compensation

The University of Twente grants financial compensation in the form of graduation months. This compensation is given to compensate for a delay in study caused by extracurricular activities. A number of months is made available every year and divided between the various associations that are governed by students. Months are also made available for faculty councils, educational committees and other institutions in which students may have a seat.
